The CEC Robotics Program is in its second year, with four middle school
teams and a new high school team. In our Robotics program, students learn
the basics of building and programming a robot to perform both autonomous
and remotely-controlled tasks.
Preparation for competition gives students
the opportunity to develop in areas of engineering, cool-headed performance,
teamwork, project management and scheduling, leadership, and gracious
professionalism.
In December and January, the middle school teams will
compete in the First Lego League competition. In January and February, the
high school team will compete in the First Tech Challenge. Go to
www.usfirst.org for more information.
