Dear Parents: |
We appreciate your interest in CEC. Anyone interested in CEC is welcome to shadow classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until the first week in May. This year your application will only be processed when the reference form from the student’s school is emailed to CEC. Students who have been home schooled may use a nonfamily member who has seen your child in a group setting. For the fastest processing time, please make sure you have an accurate email address for the referral. |
The Christian Educational Consortium classes meet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from the end of August through May. The 2013-2014 schedule online at www.christianconsortium.org provides specific information detailing when each class will meet, the name of the instructor and whether or not the class is closed. If you would like to be on the waiting list for a particular class, please indicate this on the application form, but do not write a registration check for that class. We will put your student’s name on the waiting list and email you if a spot becomes available. CEC offers advanced classes that enable students to take AP or CLEP test or dual credit through Boyce College in all core areas. Please note: students are allowed on campus only when they are enrolled in a CEC class. Students must leave campus after their classes or enroll in a proctored study hall for $50 per semester. Limited space is available in study hall, and they will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. |
The Application process is as follows:
Go to the www.christianconsortium.org classes section to check the online class schedule to view which classes are still available for enrollment. Fill out the CEC New Student Application and other forms. Write a check for $225 to the Christian Educational Consortium. Write a registration check for $50 to each individual teacher to hold
a place in that particular class. For Study Hall, write the check to CEC.
