   The most comprehensive homeschool academic study ever completed (2009) showed homeschoolers who participated in the California Achievement Test, Iowa Tests of Basic Skills and Stanford Achievement Test scored 37 percentile points above public school students on standardized tests.
   The study, conducted by the Home School Legal Defense Association, also showed that achievement gaps common in public schools and linked to income levels and other factors mostly were absent or minimal in the homeschool community."

FEES 2010-11

Consortium Fee: $200 per student

Payable to “Christian Educational Consortium” by July 15. Non-refundable.

Registration Fee: $50 per class

Payable to individual instructor by July 15. The registration fee is applied to class tuition. Non-refundable.

Class Tuition: $350 per class

Payable to each individual instructor. Three payment options (in addition to $50 reg. fee):

Annual: $300 by Sept. 1

Bi-annual: $150 by Sept. 1 + $150 by Jan 1

Quarterly: $75 by Sept. 1 + $75 by Nov. 1 + $75 by Jan. 1 + $75 by Mar. 1

Classroom Fees

Applies to certain classes such as the sciences. See CEC web site for specific class information. Classroom fees due on or before the 1st week of classes, made payable to CEC.

The Consortium fee and registration fee for each class are due by July 15.
